Rules

Phases

These are the phases in each turn :
  1. Begin : refresh resource pool, draw fragment
  2. Main : play minions, weapons and effects
  3. Attack : declare attacking minions, then play effects
  4. Block : declare blocking minions, then play effects
  5. Combat : minions deal combat damage
  6. End : play effects, then perform cleanup

Combat

Combat is the main way to let the opponent lose life. The dreamer on turn first declares the attacking minions.
By attacking a minion will become sleeping, unless it has sleepless. A minion can only attack when : The defending dreamer can then declare the blocking minions.
A minion can only block an attacker when : A minion can only block a single attacker. An attacker can be blocked by multiple minions.
When an attacker becomes blocked, it cannot deal damage to the defending dreamer.
The order of the blockers is important as it determines how damage from the attacker is dealt.
The attacker needs to deal lethal damage to a blocker before it can deal remaining damage to a next blocker.
Lethal damage is equal to the remaining life of the minion, ignoring damage prevention.
All remaining damage after dealing lethal damage is done to the first blocker.
Take for instance an attacker with 12 attack and two blockers, the first with 5 life, and the second with 4 life.
The attacker will deal in this case 5 + 3 damage to the first blocker and 4 damage to the second blocker.
